Xavier Hayes Trenton, ON Accident; In Loving Memory of Late Troy Peddle Son Xavier Richard Hayes Dies in Accident
Xavier Richard Hayes, born on August 24th, 2019, passed away on January 14, 2025, at the tender age of 5. His unexpected passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Xavier was the beloved son of Jessica Cummings (the late Troy Peddle) and Alex Hayes, who will forever treasure the moments they shared with their precious boy. Though his time on this earth was short, his impact was immense, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Xavier was surrounded by a large, loving family, all of whom will miss him dearly. He was the cherished grandson of his maternal grandparents, grandma Yvette Cummings and papa Fred Green, as well as his paternal grandparents, papa Victor McLeod and grams Tammy McLeod.
He also held a special place in the hearts of his great-grandmother, Carol Baldwin, of British Columbia, and his grandparent figures, granny Georganne MacLeod, papa Jeff LeClair, nana Norma LeClair, and nana Kayla White.
Each one of them provided him with endless love and affection, making his short time here full of care and warmth. In addition to his immediate family, Xavier leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever remember his infectious smile and joyous spirit.
Xavier was a bright, energetic little boy with an uncontainable zest for life. His big, beautiful smile was always a highlight of any room he entered, and his laughter was contagious. He had a natural ability to bring joy to those around him, even in the simplest moments.
Whether it was his endearing giggle or his playful antics, Xavier could always be counted on to brighten someone’s day. His humor and spirit were larger than life, and his family fondly recalls how he could always make them laugh, no matter the circumstances.
One of Xavier’s greatest joys in life was his fascination with excavators and superheroes. He would eagerly talk about his favorite machines and characters, fully immersing himself in their worlds. His fascination with these larger-than-life figures was matched only by his love of cuddles with his mom.
These moments, simple yet precious, were a source of comfort and joy for both mother and son. The love between them was evident to anyone who saw them together, and those close to Xavier will forever hold these tender moments close to their hearts.
Though Xavier’s time with his family was tragically short, his legacy of love, joy, and laughter will endure. He has left behind a hole in the hearts of his loved ones, but his memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the smiles he brought to others, and the love that will never fade.
A private family service will take place at a later date to honor his life and the beautiful memories he created. Those wishing to express their condolences can visit the online guestbook at www.weaverfuneralhomes.com, where memories, tributes, and condolences may be shared in his honor.
