The two other children involved, a 13-year-old girl and a 9-year-old girl, were also injured during the violent encounter. The 9-year-old is reported to be in critical condition, while the older child is in stable condition.

The horrific shooting took place in the 10,000 block of Stephen Drive in River Ridge, a quiet residential neighborhood. According to Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joseph Lopinto, deputies were dispatched to the scene after a 911 call was made, reportedly by one of the children in the home. Upon arrival, deputies found what appeared to be a violent domestic situation where Glenn Bohne had allegedly shot and killed his wife and young daughter.

The sheriff confirmed that Bohne, 46, was confronted by deputies upon their arrival at the scene.
